Exclusively Caring for Cats
Do you love your feline friends and want them to be looked after while your away from home? I adore cats, understand their gentle nature and intimate nuances. I’ve struggled finding “cat people” that have time to stop in and check on my kitties when I’m away, therefore I have decided to be the person for you and your cats!
Mystic Mouser is a pet sitting service focusing on cats. I am dependable, I have software that will send a message with photos from visits with your kitties! I will clean the litter boxes at every visit, I know the importance of that task and will send photos of anything concerning. I know that it’s important for cats to have clean and full water fountains and bowls- whichever you prefer. I will follow your instructions for feeding, and treats, and I provide enrichment activities for while the kitties are alone. I spend the time to get them to play or giving cats their space. You tell me what needs to be done to keep them healthy in your absence.
I also do light grooming for the kitties, such as brushing or cleaning goobers from their eyes, and I have experience giving medications and recognizing concerning behavior to bring to your attention. Don’t hesitate to discuss with me the details of the care you desire, I prefer to do the routine as you would if you were there. I am happy to cover light housekeeping duties, such as bringing in mail, taking out trash, and opening or closing blinds, etc.
Mystic Mouser has experience with other animals as well as cats so if you have a kitty that has other animal friends such as chickens, goats, birds, or reptiles, we can do a full service job for you while caring for the kitties. Ensure you book enough time for all the critters to be given attention. We will go over care a the Meet n Greet that is booked just prior to your service start date.
Last but not least, I have experience caring for community cats and have a lot of compassion for the colonies they thrive in. I volunteer many hours to helping animals in need and to the cause of Trap Neuter Return and Management (TNRM) which is humanely trapping a cat and having a veterinarian vaccinate, sterilize, ear tip, and provide an exam for the well being of the cat, then return it to the original location and follow through with caretaker(s) to feed, water, provide shelters, and continued monitoring for wellness. If you have free roaming cats in your area that you need help with please don’t hesitate to contact me for resources, education, or help caring for them while you are on vacation.
